Plan of Salvation

Simple Steps to Salvation

God’s deep desire is that “all should be saved”.  His Son, Jesus Christ, gave His life freely and through God’s great gift of grace we can be saved from our sins.

One may ask “how is this salvation possible for me”?  “What do I need to do?  What steps do I need to take?”  There are some simple responses to these questions that we offer for your prayerful consideration.

First step is come to a point in life realizing that we are lost in our sinful nature.  The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”  Scripture goes on to advise us in Romans 6:23, “The wages of sin is death|.

Our next step is to realize and accept God’s great love for us.    Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  It is through Jesus Christ that we may have eternal life !

Step 3 in this salvation plan is to ask Jesus to come into our heart, save us from our sins, and be the Lord of our life.  “For whosoever should call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”  Romans 10:13

Repentance is the next step where you make a 180 degree turn from your current sinful nature to a new life in Christ.  Repentance is simply being sorrowful for the way we have treated and denied Christ and His love to a desire to love and serve Him for the rest of our lives.

Finally, simply” believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved”.  Acts 16:31  Come to a point in your life to trust Him and allow Him to be the guide of your life through the revelation of His Word.

Romans 10:10  goes on to tell us “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Should you decide to allow Christ to come into you life and give unto you eternal salvation and security, please contact us or a local Bible believing church and advise them of your life-changing decision.

May God richly bless you.
